Pembrey Country Park

Pembrey Country Park is a hive of activity. Think tobogganing, laser tag, horse riding, dry slope skiing and so much more.

A hive of activity

The park hasn’t always been the magnificent parkland that it is today. During the first world war, it was an industrial factory site used to produce gunpowder and explosives. In 1969, the local residents protested against the beachside location becoming a major weapons testing site, and Pembrey Country Park was born.

Sunny days at Pembrey call for one thing - a day at the beach. The stunning blue flag Cefn Sidn sandy beach is often compared to Californias golden coast. Expect 8 miles of uninterrupted stunning views.
