Home to one of the best beaches in Europe
Famous for its unique ‘light’, it’s attracted some of the greatest names in design, including Barbara Hepworth and Bernard Leach. Many of these famous sculptors and artists are now immortalised at the Tate St Ives gallery.
Wander into town, past whitewashed cottages, watch boats at the harbour with a bag of fish and chips, or relax on Porthgwidden Beach. Take a stroll on the coastal path to Zennor or take the family to Paradise Park, in nearby Hayle.
St Ives caravan parks welcome visitors all year round, making this a perfect base from which to explore South Cornwall.
