England’s favourite holiday hotspot
Spectacular national parks like Dartmoor and Exmoor fall entirely within the region’s boundaries. It also boasts four incredible World Heritage Sites, including Stonehenge, the City of Bath, the Jurassic Coast and the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape.
Hunt for fossils, retrace the steps of the legendary King Arthur, or take a trip to the Isles of Scilly. In-between, you can treat yourself to a Cornish pasty or visit Brunel’s SS Great Britain in Bristol. There’s so much to keep you busy near South West caravan sites!

South West Hotspots
Finding the perfect spot for you and your family takes careful consideration. You’ll undoubtedly want natural draws, such as stunning sanding stretches within driving distance. Thankfully, South West caravan parks offer all this and more. Many sites also sit next to cosy pubs, independent restaurants, and boutique shops.
Bristol and Bournemouth are two of the UK’s quirkiest cities, with the former famous for its arty, creative edge. Meanwhile, the latter sits close to Poole and Weymouth, making up a national hub for yachting and sailing. Heading into the region, you’ll traverse charming towns like Yeovil, Taunton, and Barnstaple—all a stone’s throw from the English Riviera, Torquay.
From here onwards, the region becomes decidedly more rural and rugged. Seek out jaw-dropping stretches of coastline in deep Cornwall, such as Tintagel and Padstow of Poldark fame. So, wherever you head in the county, you’ll find breath-taking scenery surrounding caravan sites in the South West.
Every caravan site has a fantastic backdrop from Cornwall to Devon, Gloucestershire to Somerset. Find out more about what’s on offer by clicking a link, below.
