Leicester

The cathedral city of Leicester is a hub of history and culture. In 2012 it was discovered that King Richard III was buried here. Today they have a visitor centre dedicated to the King's story, a real focal point for the budding historians among us.

For those looking for an out-of-this-world experience, the city is home to the National Space Centre. With six interactive galleries and the UK’s largest planetarium, this award-winning museum is definitely worth a visit.
