Our favourite smoothie recipes

These smoothie recipes will kick start your day giving you a great hit of nutrients from fruit and vegetables, plus protein-rich yoghurt and milk will ensure you have the energy to keep you going until lunchtime. All you need to do is throw all the ingredients into a blender, blitz until smooth then pour into a glass and enjoy! Easy.

Breakfast Super Smoothie
150ml almond milk
1 banana
150g frozen fruits of the forest
50g blueberries
1 tbsp honey

Lean Mean & Green
250ml skimmed milk
1 banana
1 handful of spinach
pinch of cinnamon
1 celery

Pineapple-Berry
200ml pineapple juice
1 banana
100g frozen raspberries or blackberries
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp grated and peeled fresh ginger

Apple and Raspberry
2 juicy apples of your choice (we love Granny Smith)
150g frozen raspberries
150ml natural yoghurt
50g porridge oats
half a lemon, juiced
100ml semi-skimmed milk (add more if too thick)

Kiwi Fruit
3 peeled kiwis
1 mango, peeled, stoned and diced
500ml pineapple juice
1 banana, chopped

Orange & Carrot
2 medium carrots, peeled and diced
2 oranges, peeled
2cm of ginger, grated
50g porridge oats
add water or apple juice to taste, if it is a little thick

Mango Lassi
3 ripe mangoes
500ml natural yoghurt
pinch of cardamom
1 tbsp honey
2 limes, juiced

Watermelon & Mint
2 cups of cyber watermelon
1 cup of water
1 lime, juiced
1 tbsp honey
3-4 mint leaves

Coconut & Banana
100g coconut yoghurt
100ml almond milk
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
3cm fresh ginger, peeled
1 banana
1 asp honey
25g oats
juice of 1/2 a lemon

Tropical Breakfast
3 passion fruits
1 banana
1 small mango, peeled, stoned and diced
300ml orange juice
