Willerby Bespoke celebrates production of 500th home

26 July 2022

Leading holiday homes manufacturer Willerby has celebrated producing its 500th bespoke home as the business continues to go from strength to strength.

Willerby Bespoke was established in a Hedon Road factory in Hull in July 2018, separate to the main business headquarters on the same road, to create high-quality bespoke park homes and lodges.

The 500th model is a two-bedroom 40ft by 20ft Kingswood residential park home for a Wyldecrest Parks site.

Bjarne Mindested, Director of Business Development at Willerby, thanked staff for their hard work at a special celebration event to mark the milestone and all staff were treated to lunch.

He said: “I’d like to thank everyone who has helped us reach where we are today and our customers who’ve supported us on this journey.

“We’ve already established ourselves as one of the leaders in this sector and it’s been fantastic to see the business grow.

“Producing the 500th Willerby Bespoke home is a great achievement and one which wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.”

Since Willerby Bespoke launched four years ago, 50,000 computer-aided design (CAD) drawings have been produced and two million parts have been processed, handled and assembled. This equates to one part being fitted every five seconds.

Bjarne said: “Everyone has worked very hard as a team, and we’ve come a long way. We’re focused on a busy future and look forward to working towards our next milestone.”
