The lush forests of Cannock Chase are bursting with activities to try. There are the high-wire escapades of Go Ape, miles of mountain bike and hiking trails and a well-stocked cafe to refuel after your adventures.

Further south, the spectacular ridgeline of the Malvern Hills dominates the skyline. But there’s much more to the area with ancient woodlands and sprawling parkland - not to mention wildlife unique to its specific geology.

If you’re after excitement then you can visit the legendary Alton Towers with its huge selection of adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters and rides.
