Hastings

Famously associated with the Norman invasion of 1066, Hastings has much more than historical significance. Today, it’s a seaside resort with hipster hangouts, a working fish port and some sensational attractions.

Victorian elegance in historic Hastings

Whether it’s the tiny streets stuffed with boutiques or the town’s quirky museums, there’s something about Hastings that keeps visitors coming back. Recently, the namesake pier has been renovated back to its Victorian glory and won the Stirling Prize for architecture in 2017.

Go on an underwater adventure at the Blue Reef Aquarium, take a ‘smugglers adventure’ at St. Clements Cave, or head out into the unspoiled beauty of Hastings Country Park. And, of course, there’s always Battle Abbey and Hastings Castle.
