Children and young people looking to grow their skills with charity Action4Youth will have a cosy bed to go back to after a day of learning and exploration - with Willerby offering discounted accommodation in one of its holiday homes.

Willerby has pledged to support children undertaking Action4Youth’s excellent programmes and activities, which include the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the Young Leaders Award and National Citizen Service, by offering luxury accommodation.

With the support of The Leisure Company, the three-bedroom Mistral home has been transported to Action4Youth’s outdoor learning centre in Milton Keynes, which will provide a welcome respite for young people after a day of working towards specialist outdoor education qualifications.

Peter Munk, CEO at Willerby said: “We are proud to support the next generation of leaders and explorers as they work towards the qualifications that will propel them into the future.

“Our holiday homes are the pinnacle of comfort and security, and we are delighted children and young people will be able to take refuge in a warm Willerby bed after a day of hiking, kayaking, archery or horse riding.

“Outdoor experiences and making the most of what the UK has to offer is at the heart of what Willerby does, and we are delighted to support young people as they follow their dreams.”

Jenifer Cameron, Chief Executive of Action4Youth, said: “We are hugely grateful to Willerby for enabling us to invest in accommodation that will open up a number of doors, benefitting not only the three trainers that it will house but many more young people within the region.”
