With the wilds of Bodmin Moor to one side and the Tamar Valley close by, Looe is a stunning natural setting.

Famous for its crabs and mackerel, Looe is always a hit with foodies. The harbour is lined with restaurants selling freshly caught fish and Cornish cream tea. The star of the show, though, is East Looe Beach: a large sandy stretch overlooked from the east by the hillside of Mount Ararat. The rock beach here is great for snorkelling.
