Getting off to sleep is easy for some and quite literally a nightmare for others. The experts at the Sleep Council did a survey on what sounds calm us down, help us drop off and into the land of nod.
Our favourite is birdsong from the list.
Other noises that the marketing team like are:
- Rain - specifically on the outside of a tent
- A babbling brook
- Clock ticking
- Fireplace crackling
- And oddly – a hairdryer!
