The wonders you can see from you living room

03 May 2020

Many of us dream of travelling the world, but at this current time that is harder said than done… however, it isn’t impossible!

You can’t hop on a plane, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop exploring and looking for thrills and adventures. There is so much to see online, for you and the whole family; from riding some of the best roller coaster rides to looking at incredible art, or even spotting a shark!

We’ve put together a list of some of the best things we’ve found online to keep you exploring:

You can watch the Disney night Illuminations on the Disneyland Paris Facebook page or take a trip around Disney's various parks on Google Street View. Why not also take a ride on some of the exhilarating roller coasters thanks to YouTube videos.

Incredible museums from around the whole world like London’s Natural History Museum or the National Gallery, are all offering online experiences, allowing viewers to learn about the exhibits in the museums at home. You can even travel to the USA as you tour the Guggenheim Museum, in New York.

Zoos and aquariums both in the UK and overseas - such as Marwell Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo and Chester Zoo - are also hosting live tours for families to enjoy. You can even do a virtual tour of the Underwater viewing tunnel at The Deep in Hull.

Google's Arts and Culture section are allowing users to explore some of the wonders of the world online, including the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera House and more.
